2026-27 Current Student Priority Registration Enrollment
January 5 (8 AM) to February 11 (11:59 PM), 2026
Below are the requirements for current WST students to qualify for Priority Registration:
1. Currently enrolled in a WST Program
2. Must have a C- or better for their Semester 1 Grade (semester ends January 28, 2026).
3. Must not have excessive absences, unexcused or excused. Excessive absenteeism is defined as having been absent for 10% or more of total schools days. For one semester, that is 9 days. Students who are in jeopardy of not meeting this criteria are currently being notified and will be evaluated for eligibility on a case by case basis.
Note: Absences labeled E-SS (Excused for Sending School Activity or Closure) do not negatively impact student attendance records.
2026-27 Enrollment Opportunities
Current Student Priority Registration: January 8 - February 11th, 2026. For current students only, please review requirements above.
Open House Special Registration: February 12th, 2026
Attend the WST Open House and receive a special code to register the night before open enrollment begins!
Open House will be at 101 National Ave N, Bremerton WA 98310, 5 to 7 PM
Tour the school, meet teachers, and get an early registration code to use between 8 PM and Midnight that evening.
Open Enrollment Registration: Opens February 13th, 2026 at 8 AM
Registration Requirements for Year Long Programs
- Must be 16 to 21 years old at the start of the 26-27 school year
- Will be in 11th or 12th grade for the 26-27 school year
- Must be enrolled in a high school or accredited high school program within one of our partnering districts
- (Bainbridge, Bremerton, Central Kitsap, Chimacum, Goldendale, North Kitsap, North Mason, Peninsula, Port Townsend, Quilcene, and South Kitsap) If your district is not listed, please contact the Registrar at 360-473-0557)
- Home school students must be concurrently enrolled with their resident high school
- Working towards a high school diploma
Application Instructions
Create an SMAPPLY account:
Click the green Register button. Do not use a school or work email to create an SMAPPLY account. Use a personal email for either the student or the parent/guardian.
You will be asked to verify your email before proceeding. If you do not get a verification email, check your junk mail. If you have any issues verifying your email, you can still fill out an application but you will need to call 360-473-0057 to submit the application.
Once in your SMAPPLY account, under "Programs", select the application you would like to fill out.
Click the green APPLY button
Under "Your Tasks" click "WST Year Long Application Form"
There are 5 sections in the Application Form. Fill out completely
Click the green "Mark as Complete" (but you are not done, yet!)
IMPORTANT! On the next page - Click "SUBMIT"
After clicking "Submit", your application has been completed.
You will see this message when your application has been submitted:
"Application Submitted. Thank you for submitting your application."
What to expect after submitting -
After you submit your application, return to your account dashboard and verify that the status of your application reads "Submitted."
If your application has not been submitted your status will read "Application in Process - Please Complete and Submit"
After you submit, your application will go into Counselor Review. This means your sending school counseling office is reviewing your request to enroll in West Sound Tech.
Your counselor will approve or deny your application.
If your application is denied in this stage, you will receive an email from this website notifying you of their decision.
If your application is approved in this stage, your application will move on to INTERNAL REVIEW
In Internal Review, your application will be reviewed by West Sound Tech for counselor approval and if there is space in your requested programs.
Once processed, you will receive a decision through email to the account email address, parent email, AND student email listed in the application.
